Period 1 - Spanish 5 AP/GT

There was no phrase of the day today. Students presented their Coronel skits. Their test on the book is Friday.

Periods 2 and 3 - French 2

Students got their quizzes back from lesson 6. Before the lesson, students took a dictée of 5 questions having to do with the Video scene. They wrote the questions and then answered them based on the homework from last night. The actual dialogue was played on the CD once after students had about 5 minutes to answer the questions. Students were given another minute or two to answer any questions not previously answered. We introduced the verb VOIR today. This was reinforced by completing activity 1 on page 122. We also did some review of the passé composé. Students orally discussed activity 3 on page 123. Students were asked to study VOIR as well as the passé composé again for tomorrow.

Period 5 - Spanish 3

Students were greeted with a two-sided worksheet, testing their knowledge of the indirect object pronouns and the verbs conjugated like GUSTAR. We also had a general introduction today about the present perfect tense. We ended class by orally discussing and completing page 331, activity 17. Students were reminded to continue studying the present perfect for tomorrow, page 331 in the text.

Period 6 - French 5 AP/GT

Phrase of the day: donner le feu vert

Three students presented their discussion topics today. We will finish with the remaining three tomorrow.
