Period 1 - Spanish 5 AP/GT

There was no phrase of the day today.

Students were in the Dell Lab, and completed "Formal Speaking" section 4. We returned to class soon thereafter to talk about strategies on how to succeed on this type of task.

Periods 2 and 3 - French 2

Students took their quiz on lesson 11.

Period 5 - Spanish 3

Students received a pop quiz upon entering class on the uses of POR and PARA. Last night's homework was also collected and will be graded.

Period 6 - French 5 AP/GT

There was no phrase of the day today.

Students went to the Dell Lab. They focused on practicing for the upcoming AP exam by completing both forms of the 2010 AP exam, oral/speaking portions. Students warmed up by completing a simple "definition" activity of 5 French idiomatic expressions. To end class, students worked in pairs to define / identify common animals. An exit pass activity was also completed, again working in pairs to define / identify common words or expressions.
