Today's phrases of the day were: matarse de risa / no tener pies ni cabeza
Students started class by completing "Reading Comprehension" section 1. They also completed "Short Dialogues" section 1 as well as "Long Dialogues" section 1. They were given Bodas de sangre and asked to start reading it.
Periods 2 and 3 - French 2
Students started class by completing the writing activity in the workbook. This was gone over on the board. Students also completed the Test de Contrôle. To end class, students discussed their answers to Activity 5 on this review Test. Students were given a review packet from lesson 11. This will be completed as a home assignment.
Period 5 - Spanish 3
Students went over the crossword activity from episode #11 of La Catrina. Students saw episode #12 today and received the activity packets and comprehension questions for the episode. They will complete the comprehension questions for tomorrow's class.
Period 6 - French 5 AP/GT
There was no phrase of the day today. Students helped to pilot new testing questions for the French AP exam. This pilot was coordinated through the College Board and our local AP coordinator. Students have their test tomorrow on Ecole des Femmes.
