Period 1 - Spanish 5 AP/GT
There was no phrase of the day today.
Students discussed all three acts of the play. We will be in the Dell Lab on Tuesday. We will continue our discussion of the work on Wednesday.
Periods 2 and 3 - French 2
Students warmed up today with a word search, using the three new verbs from chapter 10, vouloir, devoir, and pouvoir. Students also orally discussed activity 9 from the chapter. We ended class by talking about what we had for our meals yesterday. This helped to reinforce the passé composé with the new grammar, the partitive articles. The quiz on lesson 10 will either be next Thursday or Friday.
Period 5 - Spanish 3
Students went over the packets completed in class yesterday. These were then handed back in and will be graded. The test for chapter 7A and 7B will take place next Friday.
Period 6 - French 5 AP/GT

Students began discussing some of the prominent themes of Acts 1 and 2 of the play. We will continue to discuss these themes next class.
Periods 2 and 3 - French 2
Students warmed up with the completion of text, page 170, activity 7. This was done through speaking rather than writing the activity out. We then completed pages 93 and 94 in the workbook, practicing the partitive articles.

There was no phrase of the day.
Students began talking about La casa de Bernarda Alba. Students will finish the character ID and the crossword for tomorrow's class.
Periods 2 and 3 - French 2
Students had today to complete any work during my absence. They will complete page 170, activity 8 for tomorrow.
Period 5 - Spanish 3
Students had today to complete any work during my absence. They will complete page 360, activity 17 for tomorrow's class. Numbers 9 and 10 were added during class time.

Students viewed a slide show of the recently returned trip to Quebec. We used these photos to address a variety of culturally specific examples seen during the excursion.
