Period 1 - Spanish 5 AP/GT
Phrase of the day: obrar con segunda intención (guardar rencor)
Students completed "Long Narrative" section 1, "Long Dialogue" section 2, and "Reading Comprehension" section 3.
Periods 2 and 3 - French 2
Students continued to work on bringing together lesson 14. They also got two review worksheets to introduce the ideas presented in Lesson 15. Students reviewed negative expressions and blended this with the ideas of using le, la, l' and les as direct objects.
Period 5 - Spanish 3
Students took a quiz on Lesson 8B. They also conjugated LEER as verb of the day. Students also got the details on the project that is due Monday, May 2. The website to be used for this project has a direct link on the right side of this blog. Scroll down to the Paradores of Spain.
Period 6 - French 5 AP/GT
Phrase of the day: avoir l'eau à la bouche
Students completed "Rejoinders" sections 14 and 15, "Dialogues" section 10 and "Function Words" section 4.

Period 1 - Spanish 5 AP/GT
Phrase of the day: salir en pos de
Students were in the lab today to complete "Informal Speaking" section 8. Upon returning to class, they completed "Short Dialogues" 2, 3 and 4.
Periods 2 and 3 - French 2
Today, students did pair work, continuing to review the uses of the pronouns used in lesson 14. They also received back their graded work from yesterday's class.
Period 5 - Spanish 3
Today's verb of the day was PODER. Students completed "Practice" workbook, page 166, as well as listening activities 5 and 6 from the "Writing Audio and Video" workbook. Students will most likely have a quiz on Thursday of this week. They will be in the media center to work on their travel brochures starting on Tuesday of the week we get back, through Thursday of that week. Their projects will most likely be due, Monday, May 2, 2011.
Period 6 - French 5 AP/GT
Today's phrases of the day were: la vue / le goûter / l'odorat / l'ouïe / le toucher
Students were in the Dell lab for part of the period today, responding to "Picture Sequence" series 5.

Period 1 - Spanish 5 AP/GT
Today's phrase of the day: estar metido en
Students once again listened to the listening section of "Formal Writing" section 3. They then wrote the composition for this part of the exam.
Periods 2 and 3 - French 2
Students received three worksheets, further discussing chapter 14 material. These were all gone over and students handed in one of them.
Period 5 - Spanish 3
Students continued studying chapter 8B. Today's verb of the day was HACER. Students went over the homework page from the "Practice" workbook. Students also completed a graphic organizer from chapter 8A.
Period 6 - French 5 AP/GT
Phrase of the day: prendre un mauvais pli
Students completed the "Function Words" and "Verbs" section of the 2007 AP exam.
