Period 1 - Spanish 5 AP/GT

Periods 2 and 3 - French 2

Students read the cultural reading at the end of lesson 15 today. They finished class by playing a team game using the pronouns. Their lesson 15 quiz will be on Tuesday of next week.

Period 5 - Spanish 3

Students warmed up with a photocopied worksheet from the "Practice" workbook today. Students got back all of their graded work from this week. Their exam on 8A and 8B will be next Thursday.

Period 6 - French 5 AP/GT

The phrase of the day test will be Friday, May 20.

Students completed "Dialogues" 17 - 19 today. We also talked about strategies on how to write and effective and concise essay for the AP exam.

Students had a pop quiz on Lesson 15. We continued to work on mastering lesson 15 as well.

Period 5 - Spanish 3

Students learned a little bit about Cinco de Mayo today by watching a 4-minute video presentation from History Channel. Students also did a crossword puzzle and read the history behind it. For homework, students will complete the 8B crossword puzzle.

Period 6 - French 5 AP/GT

Students prepared for the AP exam today, by doing "Dialogues" 15 and 16, "Reading Comprehension" section 6, and "Verbs" section 27.

Period 1 - Spanish 5 AP/GT

Students got the information regarding the final project today, due on May 26. The phrase of the day exam will be given on Friday, May 20.

Periods 2 and 3 - French 2

Students completed the workbook, page 139. These activities were discussed. Students also talked in pairs today about A VOTRE TOUR from the textbook, activities 1 and 2.

Period 5 - Spanish 3

Today's verb of the day was TENER. Students handed in their homework. Students also completed activities 10 and 11 from chapter 8B. These activities were gone over on the board and discussed. Students got back their graded quizzes from the other day.

Period 6 - French 5 AP/GT

Students completed "Dialogues" series 13 and 14. They also did "Function Words" section 6 as well as "Verbs" section 8. The phrase of the day test will be given on May 20.

Period 1 - Spanish 5 AP/GT

Students took the Spanish AP exam today.

Periods 2 and 3 - French 2

Students completed workbook, page 138 today. They also got back their work completed over the last several days. We started going over the activities completed from the text. We will continue going over them tomorrow.

Period 5 - Spanish 3

Today's verb of the day was DIVERTIRSE. Students completed "Practice" workbook page 167. Students will complete text, page 430, activity #4, section #1, as well as page 431, activity #5.

Period 6 - French 5 AP/GT

There was no phrase of the day today. Students completed "Rejoinders" section 20 and "Dialogues" section 12. Students went over the fill in the blank responses from the 2006 AP exam.

Period 1 - Spanish 5 AP/GT
